The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce hosted the 19th Annual Bell Business Award ceremony on May 12. The awards recognized local entrepreneurs and businesses that help build and shape the community. Covergalls Workwear was nominated for the Innovation Award alongside Maestro Mine Ventilation and Industrial Fabrication Inc., sponsored by Cambrian College and NORCAT.
The Innovation Award is awarded to a company, which has demonstrated product research and prototype development, environmental innovation, or the marketing of new innovations in science, technology, special needs or the environmental field. Covergalls is honoured to be nominated for this award alongside two great businesses. The award was presented to Maestro Mine Ventilation at the ceremony. Congratulations!
“It’s an honour to be nominated, at Covergalls we are always striving to create new products to help meet the needs of women in the trades. It’s always rewarding to be recognized for your work,” said Alicia Woods, Covergalls Workwear creator.
