The Influential Women of Northern Ontario Awards, handed out in Sault Ste. Marie on May 25 and in Thunder Bay on May 28, honours women in Northern Ontario who contribute to the north’s economic success and expansion.

The awards program is put on by Northern Life’s sister company, Northern Ontario Business.

“We are so proud to be recognizing exceptional women in the north,” said Influential Women founder Patricia Mills, in a press release. “Each year we receive more and more nominations. We are looking forward to receiving your submissions for 2016.”
